Update on where God has taken me and what God has shown me with my friendship with Bekah:

I am to the point where God is in front of Bekah priority wise! I can confidently say my best friend is no longer a idol in my life! Praise God! He does great things! It’s so cool, I can definitely tell a difference in my heart!

He used the story of Abraham and Isaac  to teach me more about what was going on in my life. God asked Abraham to kill his son (You may know this story) but God was doing that because Abraham loved Isaac so much and God needed to remove him as the most important thing in Abraham’s life. Of course I resonate with that. God wanted to remove my best friend from the temple of my heart so that He could reign unchallenged there. There was a perversion that existed in my love and he wanted to fix that. He has made major movements towards mending my heart! And brought himself back to the center of my priorities! Thanks God! I know the way I was living my life was disobedient to God but I also know God can use that time in my life for His glory and mine and Bekah’s good. I’m excited to see what this new friendship looks like and how we can glorify God together!
